Sheboygan County Authorities are Harmful to Minors

I am amazed how citizens in the United States fear the human female breast so much. This aberration is such that young children who could care less about the view are used to justify this peculiar dysfunction of adults and then taught to inherit this foolishness.

In Sheboygan, Wisconsin, a recent case reported as topless twins demonstrates this inanity. Apparently, these twins took a few photographs showing body parts that some anal retentives find offensive. A detective involved in the investigation claimed that the photos were definitely sexual demonstrating his inability to see breasts as a common and normal part of human anatomy.

The criminal complaint charging the sisters with disorderly behavior resulted from photos turned over to authorities by an overzealous and uptight Walgreens’ Manager. The photo that triggered the domestic crisis in Sheboygan County showed one of the woman sitting topless on a bed, wearing pantyhose and a thong. The five‑year‑old son of one of the woman had wandered into the background. That triggered the “harmful to children” paranoia.

The prosecutor could only file disorderly charges against the two. He wanted ten days in jail for each twin besides fines. The judge imposed only the fines plus court costs.

Sheboygan County Prosecutor Joe DeCecco stated that moms (note ‑ not dads) are permitted to dress in front of their children. Somehow, this case did not meet the criteria since one of the twins was not the mom. DeCecco packaged himself as a defender of a mythical pure motherhood.

I’m not sure why the judge found these two guilty. There is no indication that the child was harmed except by the charge brought against his mother. The concept that children exposed to nudity suffer damage defies logic and reality. In those areas of the world where nudity is present, no damage is caused by the practice to anyone. If anything, the shame that so many here attach to the human body is damaging to adult and child alike.

We are living in a land where paranoia is attached to anything sexual and the human breast is considered a sex object by feminists and right‑wing Christians. We have a legal system gone mad over claiming sex crimes where none exist. We have many people damaged by unwarranted and baseless sex crime charges. This takes a deep toll on their family members as well as our society.

There are people who can be labeled sexual predators. Some of these are very dangerous. Rather than look at this as a problem to be solved, prosecutors like DeCecco prosecute on the basis of innocuous photos and insist on consuming jail space and other resources resulting from his own ignorance. Then he can crow about his big sex crime case.

It is time for humans to be treated as human. Our bodies are what they are, and we have no need for shame or guilt. It is time for our lawmakers to decriminalize the human body and cease making laws that place ever increasing numbers of our citizens in harms way through criminal cases that do nothing to protect or benefit society.
